Butts & Kisses
A personal project celebrating self-love
In 2023. I was preparing my solo exhibition and wanted to make some atypical merch. The name of the show was Practice, meaning something you do every day, so the idea was to make something that would reflect my everyday life.
Mirrors, glasses and plates are as everyday as they come so I decided to pair them with not-so-everyday drawings.
Right about that time I had a wonderful dream.
In it I shared the most passionate kiss with myself!
It was the absolute best and as such made its way onto my new merch.
I also decided to immortalize the cheekiest reminder of summer: my semi-tanned butt after a vacation at the seaside, because who doesn’t like butts!
